"If Opportunity Doesn't Knock, Build a Door."
After being labeled "Too hot to handle!" in late 1968 for his controversial
views, Marvin Burak would broadcast his radio program "Radio Free
Philadelphia" from his home studio through a telephone line aired on WXUR
in Media PA.
Burak's daugher, Lois, changed career paths after a successful thirty years
in the beauty industry to follow in his footsteps at the microphone. A
first rate studio was constructed as a tribute to Marvin Burak's memory and
his undying quest for free speech on the airwaves.
The LoLo Radio Network integrates The Burak Family Legacy of Radio
Broadcasting with a mix of diverse programming and personalities.
